WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING WEDNESDAY-SUNDAY AVAILABILITY FROM NOVEMBER-DECEMBER, WITH TRAINING IN OCTOBER

We are seeking an outgoing, energetic, and dependable retail sales associate to join our growing team for the holiday season to assist in-store and at our large scale holiday markets in Oklahoma City. City and Stars will be at Mistletoe Market (Nov 5-9) and Holiday Pop-Up Shops (Dec 4-7 & 11-14). We are also anticipating an increase in bookings of private parties for the holidays!

As a Sales Associate for City and Stars, you will form meaningful relationships with new and current customers in-store and assist with pop-ups in the community. With our newest services, you will also become familiar with our permanent jewelry and charm bar! This is a very people-focused role, as we are involved in a lot of events for this season, but we are also looking for someone who can assist with booth setups and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist customers in-store with styling
• Operate transactions through our Point of Sale system and cash register
• Support setup and takedown for holiday markets
• Become familiar with our permanent jewelry and charm bar services
• Host private charm bar parties in-store
• Prepare online orders for in-store pickup and shipment
• Assist online customers with product info, orders, and try-ons
• Maintain store cleanliness and provide an overall positive environment for customers

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Basic understanding of sales and customer service
• Stay up-to-date with current inventory and product knowledge, as well as trends in the industry
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited/no mistakes
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated, able to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Flexible schedule - available for 5-10 hours per week, including holidays, weekends, and evenings
• Able to maneuver around sales floor and lift up to 40 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior retail + visual merchandising experience
• Knowledge of POS systems
• Comfortable in front of the camera
